Fall 2026 Launches from Herman Miller

Iconic designs by Charles and Ray Eames and George Nelson receive fresh material updates this season, joined by new finishes and upholstery for contemporary collections by Gabriel Tan and Stine Aas

Please see below for further details on the upcoming launches, including their respective embargo dates.

Eames and Nelson Classics – White Oak Expansion
Embargoed until July 22

This season, Herman Miller celebrates the timeless appeal of oak with the introduction of several of its most iconic designs in premium oak veneer. Celebrated for its clean grain and natural warmth, oak brings a lighter, more contemporary expression to these enduring classics.

The collection includes Charles and Ray Eames' Molded Plywood Lounge (LCW, LCM) and Dining Chairs (DCM, DCW). First introduced in 1946, the groundbreaking designs helped define mid-century modern furniture and remain icons of twentieth-century design. In oak veneer, their sculptural forms take on a softer, more refined character.

Also debuting in white oak are two George Nelson classics: the Nelson Thin Edge Collection and the Nelson Platform Bench. Designed in 1952 and 1946 respectively, both embody Nelson's philosophy of functional, beautifully crafted furniture for everyday living, and continue to exemplify Herman Miller's enduring design legacy.

The new oak finishes highlight the craftsmanship and longevity of these celebrated pieces, offering a fresh interpretation of modern design classics.

Luva Modular Sofa Group by Gabriel Tan – Fabric Extension
Embargoed until July 29

Inspired by the soft form of boxing gloves and the simplicity of Japanese futons, Gabriel Tan's Luva Modular Sofa Group combines sculptural design with exceptional versatility. The sofa's adjustable backrest can be raised or lowered to suit different seating positions, while modular elements can be configured together or apart, allowing the sofa to adapt effortlessly to changing spaces and lifestyles.

This season, Luva is available in an expanded range of premium upholstery, including Rowan, a durable wool-rich textile with a subtle, speckled texture and Greenguard certification, and Luce, an Italian-woven fabric crafted from recycled wool garments. Rich in texture and designed for longevity, the new fabrics further enhance Luva's balance of comfort, craftsmanship and contemporary design.

Eames Molded Plastic Dining Chair by Charles and Ray Eames – Fabric Extension
Embargoed until August 5

Originally introduced in 1970 as the EC-127, the Eames Molded Plastic Dining Chair combines the comfort of a design classic with the versatility of a modern multi-use chair. Made with 99% post-industrial recycled plastic and available in a range of contemporary colors, it is equally suited to workplaces, libraries, and dining spaces.

Following its reintroduction in 2025, the chair is now available in 10 new upholstery options, including Maharam Mode, an 80% post-consumer recycled polyester that offers the look and feel of wool while reducing waste and conserving energy. Additional introductions include Album, an Italian-made, PFAS-free, stain-resistant textile, and Maharam Prone Leather, a premium full-grain leather with a soft, natural finish.

Land Collection by Stine Aas, Walnut Expansion
Embargoed until September 9

Inspired by the rural landscapes of her native Norway, designer Stine Aas created the Land Collection as a celebration of craftsmanship, natural materials and timeless design. Comprising a dining table, credenza and console, the collection pairs refined hardwood construction with understated detailing to create pieces designed to endure for generations.

The collection is now available in walnut, joining the existing white oak and umber oak finishes. Rich in warm brown tones and characterized by its distinctive grain and matte finish, walnut brings a sophisticated new expression to the collection while highlighting the beauty of the natural material.
