New Launches from Herman Miller

Herman Miller brings the archival Girard Flower Table to North America for the first time, along with updates to the iconic Nelson Basic Cabinet Series

Girard Flower Table (Archival Reissue)

Girard Flower Table was designed by Alexander Girard in the mid-1950s as a custom piece for the legendary Miller House in Columbus, Indiana. The original – which stood as the centerpiece of a sunken “conversation pit” in the heart of the home – had a brass finish. This archival reissue makes a classic Girard design available to the North American market for the first time.

A modern take on a blooming flower, the table features a scalloped edge and a repeating petal-shaped pattern for a base. Designed to be styled together or apart, the Girard Flower Table is available in two sizes with a Vivid Red or Anthracite powder-coated steel finish. This durable coating makes it perfect for outdoor entertaining, but it is equally well-suited for interior spaces.

Nelson Basic Cabinet Series (Refresh)

First introduced in 1946 and today considered a classic in midcentury modern design, the Nelson Basic Cabinet Series by George Nelson has been refreshed with a new look. The modular storage system, which includes six components (see below), now offers a refined wood leg and the choice between a standard or tapered version, as well as customizable pawn, wavy, or cupcake pulls. Each piece is available in walnut or oak.
